Bunyodkor will have to wait until at least the weekend to secure the Uzbek League title after being held to a goalless draw by second-placed Pakhtakor.
A win for the visitors would have been enough to claim the title and although they had the better chances, they were unable to turn them into goals. Winning the league is merely a formality, however, with Bunyodkor 17 points clear of Pakhtakor, who have six games left to play.
"I am satisfied with the way my team played," said Bunyodkor coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. "We played better than the hosts but we could not finish our chances. We had about four good chances to score but my players did not take them confidently."
