Singapore Armed Forces were handed a fourth consecutive S-League title today after second-placed Tampines Rovers went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Young Lions.
Tampines could have closed the gap to seven points with three games remaining after Singapore Armed Forces suffered a 4-1 defeat by Super Reds yesterday.
But after half-time substitute Khairul Nizam struck a minute after the break for Young Lions, Tampines remained 10 points adrift with three games remaining leaving Singapore Armed Forces with an unassailable lead.
