Helsingborg's faint hopes of lifting the Allsvenska have all but disappeared after they let slip a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 at Trelleborg.

The visitors got off to the perfect start as Rasmus Jonsson gave them a sixth-minute lead and Christoffer Andersson doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark.

But Andreas Whilborg pounced seconds after the break and Joakim Sjohage scored two in four minutes to give Trelleborg the lead on the hour mark before substitute Fredrik Jensen sealed the win.

Helsingborg are now eight points off the top of the table with five games remaining; Trelleborg are three points further back.

Larsson on-song for Malmo
Hammarby's situation grows more perilous by the day as they lost 3-1 at Malmo. Daniel Larsson nabbed a goal in each half to give Malmo a comfortable advantage.

But Simon Helg scored late on to set up a nervy final eight minutes before Edward Ofere pounced in stoppage time.

Hammarby are third from bottom, above Djurgarden on goal difference only and have just two more points than rock-bottom Orgryte.

They are also five points off Brommapojkarna and all those teams have a game in hand.
