Barcelona defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy has been ruled of action for around three weeks after suffering ligament damage in his left knee, the European champions have confirmed.

The Ukraine international, a €25m signing from Shakhtar Donetsk this summer, sustained the injury during last night's 2-0 win over Malaga.

Striker Thierry Henry also picked up an injury during the match, damaging his left thigh, and he is rated as a serious doubt for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev.
