Schalke coach Felix Magath believes Bayern Munich will be among the clubs that move for right-wingback Rafinha in the next transfer window. The Gelsenkirchen-based club are in the midst of a financial crisis, which will force Magath to sell at least one of his best players when the transfer window opens in January

Rafinha could be the man who would bring in the most money. After he impressed again in Schalke's return to the top three in the Bundesliga on Sunday, Magath sang the Brazilian's praises.

"There is no better right-back in the Bundesliga," he said. "If he continues to perform like this, then Bayern (Munich) will have no choice but to call us."

Schalke turned down an approach from Bayern in the days leading up to the transfer deadline, when Magath was keen to hold on to his best players.

However, since then, he has been given an insight into the true financial plight of the club and even he now realises that the sale of players in the winter is inevitable to avoid more serious repercussions.

"If he continues to play so well, even a club like Barcelona may come in for him," added Magath. "I would not be able to turn down 35 million (euros) from Barça."
