Oman striker Emad Al Hosani is set to join Belgian side Charleroi after agreeing a two-year-deal with the Jupiler League side.

The 25-year-old will head to Belgium tomorrow to conclude the deal which will make him the second Omani to play in Europe following in the footsteps of Bolton goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

Gulf Cup winner Al Hosani boasts an impressive strike rate for Oman, having netted 30 times in 52 appearances.

"I always dreamed of playing in Europe and now I have got this chance and I want to hold on to it," Al Hosani told the Oman Daily. "This is a chance for me to play with big players in Europe and it is a new challenge for me in the next period."

Al Hosani started his club career with Khaburah in 2003 before joining Saudi Arabia's Al Riyadh the following year.

He scored 41 goals in 84 appearances for Qatar Sports Club in three years from 2005 before scoring 11 goals last season with Qatar's Al Rayyan.
