Peter Lovenkrands has re-signed for Newcastle United on a three-year deal, after being out of contract since May.

The 29-year-old Danish winger spent the second half of last season at St James' Park, scoring three goals in 12 appearances.

The former Rangers and Schalke player is expected to make his debut at Cardiff City on 13 September.
