Sevilla's start to the Primera Division season went from bad to worse today with the news that midfielder Ndri Romaric is set to be sidelined for up to a month with injury.

Romaric, who was substituted 21 minutes into yesterday's match at Valencia, underwent further tests on his injured knee this morning and club doctor Adolfo Munoz confirmed the Ivorian international is likely to be out for between three and four weeks.

The loss of Romaric comes after Sevilla suffered a 2-0 defeat at Valencia in their season-opener, a match which also saw them lose striker Fredi Kanoute to a red card.
