S-League leaders Singapore Armed Forces returned to winning ways today, Park Tae-Won's late strike securing a 1-0 win over Woodlands Wellington at Choa Chu Kang Stadium.
Korean midfielder Park netted with 15 minutes remaining as the two-time defending champions bounced back from last Friday's 2-0 defeat by Home United to restore their 11-point advantage over Tampines Rovers at the top of the table.
Home United, meanwhile, extended their unbeaten streak to five games by recording a 2-1 comeback victory at Albirex Niigata to move up to third place, three points behind second-placed Rovers. The home side took a fifth-minute lead at Jurong East Stadium through striker Kenji Adachihara.
With Albirex looking on course to claim all three points, Brazilian midfielder Peres De Oliveira equalised for the visitors after 77 minutes. Cameroonian defender Valery Hiek then snatched the win with nine minutes left.
