Sparta Prague recorded a belated first win of the Gambrinus Liga season with a 2-0 victory at home to ten-man Kladno.
Sparta, playing their fourth match of the campaign following three successive draws, went ahead in the 28th minute through Kamil Vacek, three minutes after the visitors had Antonin Holub sent off.
Bony Wilfred made the points safe for Sparta, who finished second last season, in the 89th minute.
Defending champions Slavia Prague won 1-0 at Ceske Budejovice thanks to Jaroslav Cerny's 22nd-minute goal to move up to fifth, three points behind early leaders Brno.
