Austria Vienna made it a three-way fight for the lead in the Austrian Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Magna Wr. Neustadt.

Second-half goals from Manuel Ortlechner (55) and Milenko Acimovic (70) put Austria in the driving seat with Guido Burgstaller netting a late reply for the top-flight newcomers. Austria joined Salzburg and Sturm Graz at the top of the table, with the latter running out 3-1 winners over Austria Karnten on Sunday.

Oliver Pusztai fired the home side in front after seven minutes but Fabian Lamotte levelled before goals in the last nine minutes from Andreas Hoelzl and Jakob Jantscher turned the result on its head.

SV Ried lost ground on the top three with a 1-1 draw at home to Rapid Vienna. Stefan Hoffman scored for Rapid with Hamdi Salihi replying soon after.
