Peres De Oliveira scored a hat-trick as Home United edged an entertaining encounter against second-placed Tampines 3-2 in an S.League match at Tampines Stadium today.

Fahrudin Mustafic scored from the spot in the sixth minute before De Oliveira levelled in the 39th minute.

The Brazilian, who had a spell at Tampines in 2006, then put his side ahead in the 45th minute when he converted a penalty but the hosts battled back when Seiji Kaneko struck in the 50th minute.

However, De Oliveira scored again with 13 minutes remaining to secure the three points for Home, who climbed to fourth place with the win.
