SC Vaslui sealed their spot in the third qualifying round of the Europa League with a 3-1 aggregate win over Cypriot side AC Omonia on Tuesday.

The Romanian side carried a two-goal lead into the match and were all but certain of their place in the next stage when striker Wesley Lopes Da Silva put them ahead after an hour in Nicosia.

Maciej Zurawski scored a consolation from the penalty spot with six minutes to play but it came too late to rally Omonia. The remaining matches will be on Wednesday with the play-off round to be played later in August ahead of next month's group stage.
