Alessandro Del Piero has signalled his intention to finish his career at Juventus by signing a new 12-month contract extension.

The 34-year-old forward's previous deal was due to expire at the end of next season, but he is now tied to I Bianconeri until June 2011.

"I am happy to remain here for two further years," Del Piero said. "I am proud of this contract extension, it gives me great satisfaction.

I want to play football as long as I can guarantee my quality. My relationship with this club goes beyond the professional scene.
