Manchester United have signed promising striker Mame Biram Diouf from Molde.

The Red Devils confirmed they had agreed terms with the Norwegian club for the transfer of the 21-year-old Senegal-born player.

Diouf is due to attend a medical in Manchester next week and will be loaned back to Molde until January.

United have good links with Molde as their former striker and current reserve-team manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was recruited from the club.
