Toulouse president Olivier Sadran has maintained star striker Andre-Pierre Gignac will not be sold to Ligue 1 rivals Lyon.

Les Gones have made the France international one of their top priorities this summer, and the player has revealed he would like to sign for the deposed champions.

Lyon are believed to have made an increased offer of €15m for Gignac over the weekend, having already had a bid turned down last week. But Sadran has said the 23-year-old is not for sale and that he will not change his stance.

"I have said no (to transfers) several times in my life. When I say no, I mean no," he told L'Equipe.

Lyon, who late on Saturday night completed the signing of striker Lisandro Lopez from Porto for an initial fee of €24m, are also continuing their chase for Nice forward Loic Remy.

The 22-year-old was sold to the southerners by Lyon last summer for €8m euros, but they could be willing to buy him back for around twice that fee.
