Seoul stormed to the top of the K-League with a 5-1 defeat of Incheon United at Seoul World Cup Stadium. The win puts the AFC Champions League quarter-finalists a point clear of Gwangju Sangmu, who lost 2-1 to in-form Pohang Steelers on Saturday.

Jung Jo-gook fired home from outside of the area after just 58 seconds to claim the K-League's fastest goal of the season. Seoul doubled their lead seven minutes later as Jung tapped home a low cross before Dejan Damjanovic converted from close range eight minutes before the break.

Yoo Byung-soo's header three minutes later gave Incheon a lifeline, but it was short lived as Damjanovic restored the three-goal advantage just a minute later before Koh Myung-jin sealed the win just after the break.

Bluewings fail to hang on
Jeonbuk Motors remain third, two points off the pace after fighting back to earn a 1-1 draw at home to champions Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

Not being able to protect our lead is frustrating, but a point away from home is satisfactory.
Suwon coach Cha Bum-keun

"It is frustrating to draw at home, but we prepared well for this game," said Jeonbuk coach Choi Kang-hee. "It is not the result we wanted, but there are still lots of K-League games remaining for us."

Kim Dae-ui gave the visitors a 15th-minute lead before Lee Dong-gook earned Jeonbuk a point with his 12th goal in 13 league games seven minutes after the restart.

"Not being able to protect our lead is frustrating," said Suwon coach Cha Bum-keun. "But a point away from home is satisfactory."

Seongnam turn it around
Elsewhere, Seongnam Ilhwa ended a run of three straight defeats with a 3-1 win over Gyeongnam FC, while Daejeon Citizen shared a 2-2 draw with Gangwon FC and Ulsan Hyundai Horang-I became the latest team to defeat bottom club Daegu FC, as Young-Sam Kim scored twice to secure a 3-1 win.
