Kalmar climbed to within four points of leaders Gothenburg after they defeated Djurgardens 6-1 at home.

The sides were level at 1-1 at half-time as veteran striker Mattias Jonson equalised for the visitors, after Rasmus Elm had put Kalmar in front.

However, Kalmar were untouchable in the second half as they added three goals in a 13-minute period.

Elm added his second, Tobias Eriksson grabbed the third and David Elm made it 4-1 in the 66th minute.

A second for Eriksson and one from substitute Abiola Dauda in the last three minutes piled on the agony for Djurgardens, who have now lost eight of their 14 games and are 14th out of 16 in the standings.
