Former Netherlands winger Boudewijn Zenden is considering offers from Marseille, Fulham and Genoa, but will not be linking up with Steve McClaren again at Twente.
The 32-year-old, who has played for Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool, is not keen to return to his homeland yet, despite being contacted by McClaren.
"We know each other very well from our time at Middlesbrough," Zenden told De Telegraaf. "And I told him that it's an option to return to Holland at a given point in time, but that should be at the right time. I thanked McClaren for his call."
Zenden must now decide whether to stay at Marseille, where he has spent the last two seasons, or seek a new challenge. "I can sign a new contract there, but also Fulham, Genoa, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos want to sign me," he explained.
"Genoa and Fulham are playing in the Europa League, while the other clubs play in the Champions League. I'll put all the offers in a row and will make a decision soon."
