French champions Bordeaux have completed the signing of Jaroslav Plasil from Osasuna.

The Czech Republic midfielder, who spent two seasons with the Spanish club, has penned a four-year deal with Les Girondins.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region €3m.

Plasil, 27, is no stranger to Ligue 1. He moved to Osasuna from Monaco, who he joined in 2000.

Marseille were also believed to be interested in Plasil, who has made 47 appearances for the Czechs.
