Bernardo Corradi is delighted to have been given a "second chance" in football after signing for Udinese.

The former Lazio, Valencia and Manchester City striker left Reggina at the end of the season after they were relegated and has now joined Udinese, who finished seventh last season.

"I'm starting this adventure with much enthusiasm, something which has always characterised every new path I have taken throughout my whole career," Corradi said.

I have signed a two-year contract and that for me represents a sense of even greater responsibility in wanting to repay the faith that has been given to me.

"I'm 33 years old and I want to immediately say that I'm not considering this experience that is about to start as a kind of 'end of career', but a second chance in top-level football," he said.
