Ajax coach Martin Jol has flatly refused to entertain offers for highly-rated forward Luis Suarez.

The Uruguay international has attracted the attention of some of Europe's elite clubs, after hitting 22 goals and providing 14 assists in a side that struggled in the Eredivisie last season and ultimately failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

The 22-year-old is believed to be frustrated that he will be unable to prove himself on the biggest stage in European football in the 2009/10 campaign, but Jol is determined not to bow to the pressure to sell.

"I say that he can't leave us, he will stay," Jol told De Telegraaf newspaper. "Even if a club offers us €30m or so, Suarez will not leave Ajax."
