Rade Prica scored a last-minute winner as Rosenborg maintained their seven-point lead at the top of the Tippeligaen with a 2-1 win on Sunday at Valerenga.
Sweden international Prica, who joined the Trondheim club in March after a disappointing spell in England with Sunderland, completed a fine turnaround for the leaders after they had fallen behind to Andre Muri's 40th-minute goal.
An own goal from Muri pulled Rosenborg level before striker Prica, who will be 29 on Tuesday, struck late on.
Molde remain second after defeating rock-bottom Lyon Oslo 4-0, with Pape Diouf, Mame Diouf, Makhtar Thioune and Jose Roberto Mota grabbing the goals.
Odd Grenland are third despite being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Viking FK. Peter Ijeh grabbed a double for the visitors in between goals from Simen Brenne and Peter Kovacs.
Elsewhere, Tromso beat Aalesund 3-1, Stromsgodset and Sandefjord drew 1-1 and Bodo/Glimt earned a point in a 2-2 draw at Fredrikstad.
