Tampines Rovers moved within five points of S-League leaders Gombak United following a 3-1 victory over Geylang United at Tampines Stadium.

Noh Alam Shah put the hosts in front after 22 minutes and Qiu Li doubled the advantage three minutes later.

Ashrin Sharrif halved the deficit for Geylang nine minutes from the interval, but Fahrudin Mustafic made the points safe from the spot in the 71st minute.
