Stuttgart have completed the signing of defender Stefano Celozzi from Baden-Wurttemberg neighbours Karlsruhe for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old full-back will sign a three-year contract with the Swabians if he passes a medical.
"Stefano Celozzi is very versatile as a full-back and is one of the biggest talents in German football for his age group," said Stuttgart's director of sport Horst Heldt.
"He proved his great potential last season and we are convinced that he will take the next step in his development with us."
Stuttgart also confirmed the signing of midfielder Matthias Schwarz from Ingolstadt.
The former Bayern Munich youth-team player has signed a two-year contract which is also subject to him passing a medical.
"Matthias Schwarz is a midfield all-rounder who has everything it takes to make it in the Bundesliga," added Heldt.
