Brechet heading back to Sochaux
PSV Eindhoven defender Jeremie Brechet is returning to former club Sochaux. The 29-year-old made the decision because his family was unable to settle in Holland.
He said: "It's a pity because I really liked playing for PSV.
"But this is the best option. It's difficult. I don't want to leave PSV, but my family is really homesick and wants to go back to France.
"It's a pity, but PSV understand the situation.
"I've had a lot of fun here and made a lot of friends. I'll miss this club, I was happy at PSV.
"But my family is happy with this decision. This is hard for me, but the best for them. We are preparing for a new future in France." Brechet played 27 games for PSV, scoring one goal.
