Molde fortified second place in the table with a 2-0 win at home to Fredrikstad. Jose Roberto Mota [13] and Magne Hoseth [74] scored the goals to push them three points clear of Odd Grenland, who drew 1-1 at bottom club Lyn Oslo.

Odd Grenland had to rely on a 90th-minute equaliser from Steffen Hagen to take a point after Diego Guastavino had put Lyn ahead in the 14th minute.

Stabaek were the biggest winners of the day as they defeated Start 5-0.

Daigo Kobayashi and Daniel Nannskog both scored second-half doubles after Fredrik Berglund had opened the scoring with 21 minutes gone.

Stromsgodset came from a goal down to beat Tromso 2-1. Morten Moldskred scored after 47 minutes to put Tromso ahead, but Ola Kamara [50] and Oyvind Storflor [90] replied to sew up victory for Stromsgodset.

Elsewhere, the day's remaining fixtures both finished 1-1 with Bodo/Glimt and Viking both fighting back to claim a point against Lillestrom and Brann respectively.
