A Norikazu Murakami brace inspired Home United to a 2-1 win over Woodlands at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Murakami opened the scoring after 23 minutes and added a second nine minutes after the break before Jamil Ali pulled a goal back for the hosts in the 66th minute.

Elsewhere, Balestier and Super Reds shared a 1-1 draw at Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

Park Kang Jin put Reds in front after 50 minutes, but Bryan Soane levelled in the 78th minute to rescue a point for Balestier.
