Ajax legend Bobby Haarms has died, aged 75.
Haarms joined the club as a 13-year-old and went on to play 72 games for the first team, scoring one goal.
He later held the positions of amateur coach, scout, youth coach and assistant coach, before retiring in 2000, when he was made an honorary member of the club.
Ajax chairman Uri Coronel said: "Bob Haarms was one of the big sons of Ajax, an icon of the club with an unconditional love and loyalty for Ajax.
"He gave a big part of his life to the club. His huge popularity here proves everybody felt that. Ajax will miss him badly."
