Lyon are interested in former Arsenal midfielders Patrick Vieira and Alexander Hleb, according to director Bernard Lacombe.

It is set to be a summer of change at the Ligue 1 club, after they ended the season without the title for the first time in eight years.

Hleb is the likeliest option as the Barcelona player is seeking a move away from Camp Nou after spending most of the season on the bench.

Lacombe revealed they are keen to snap up the 28-year-old. "Hleb is a good player, we'll see what we can do," he told OL TV.

Vieira could also be on his way to Les Gones following an injury-ravaged season at Inter Milan.

The holding midfielder has claimed he does not want to leave the San Siro, but admitted he could be on the move if it would improve his chances of making France's squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.

And Lacombe believes he would be a good buy for Lyon. "The worry is his injuries," he added. "But he wants to play in the World Cup, so why not?"
