Paris Saint Germain scoring sensation Guillaume Hoarau is set to miss the next two matches because of a groin injury, the club announced on Monday.
Hoarau, who has scored 17 times this season, suffered the injury at the end of training on Saturday forcing him to miss Sunday's 1-0 defeat by French Cup finalists Rennes.
PSG trail joint-leaders Marseille and Bordeaux by eight points and currently hold down the last European qualification berth, two points clear of Toulouse.
Hoarau has scored a goal every other match this season for PSG since joining the club from Le Havre last summer.
