Porto re-established their four-point lead at the top with a 2-0 win over Vitoria Setubal. Lisandro Lopez was the hero, scoring a quickfire second-half double [61 and 68] to seal the points.

The win leaves Porto four points clear of second-placed Sporting with four games remaining. Another four points back are Benfica, who held off a Maritimo comeback to win 3-2.

David Luiz opened the scoring after 28 minutes, before Oscar Cardozo's brace [34 and 38] seemingly made the points safe. However, Ivanildo Marcinho pulled one back two minutes before the break and Bruno set up a nervy last half-hour by scoring in the 60th minute.

Elsewhere, Rio Ave climbed out of the relegation zone at the expense of Vitoria with a 1-0 win at Naval, while Nacional were 2-1 winners at Belenenses.
