Qualifying history
St. Kitts and Nevis have a short history in qualifying. They were rudely awakened from their 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ dream when Belize beat them at home in the second leg of their qualification tie. Four years on from that disappointment the islanders aimed for a happier outcome on the road to Brazil 2014. But they came up short again after reaching the first group stage. Drawn alongside eventual winners Canada, Puerto Rico and St. Lucia, the islanders managed only a third-place finish as their campaign crumbled. This time out, chasing a place in Russia in 2018, St. Kitts and Nevis hammered Turks and Caicos Islands 12-4 over two legs to get their campaign off on the right foot.

However, their qualification came to an end in the second round in June when El Salvador beat the islanders 6-3 on aggregate.
