Portugal coach Paulo Bento is sweating over the fitness of three key players - Cristiano Ronaldo, defender Pepe and midfielder Raul Meireles - for Friday's Brazil 2014 qualifier against Russia in Moscow.
Fenerbahce's Meireles became the latest doubt after suffering an injury in training on Thursday.
"Raul injured himself today, while Ronaldo [shoulder strain] and Pepe [thigh strain] had their first training of the week, and we'll take a decision [on their availability to play] tomorrow," said Bento.
Real Madrid duo Ronaldo and Pepe picked up their injuries in last Sunday's El Clasico, which finished in a 2-2 draw with Barcelona.
Looking ahead to the Group F tie Bento said: "Russia have the same objective as us so there's no favourite, but we're going out there to win and to leave here with a total of nine points."
Both countries boast a maximum six points from their opening two matches, five points ahead of their four group rivals.
