One of the handful of Dutch islands in the Caribbean, Aruba
have not been able to secure any sustained success in the CONCACAF region. The small and picturesque paradise island usually heads for the door in the early rounds of qualifying. The preliminary stages for Brazil 2014 would be no exception to this tradition either, as the Arubans tumbled out after a thrilling two-legged clash with St. Lucia that had to be decided on penalties after the aggregate score was tangled at 6-6.
