The FIFA Fan Fest™ has received high praise indeed from the international business community, receiving two prestigious German Stevie® Awards for "Live Event of the Year" and "Marketing Campaign of the Year".

"The Gold and Bronze Stevie Awards for Live Event of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year represent a significant achievement by FIFA and everyone responsible for creating the FIFA Fan Fest – including the five million fans who visited the 12 FIFA Fan Fest locations in Brazil last summer," said Thierry Weil, FIFA Marketing Director.

"The FIFA Fan Fest has become a cultural phenomenon since its introduction, and it is gratifying to receive recognition from the wider business community."

The Gold and Bronze Stevie® Awards, which were awarded to the FIFA Fan Fest™ following the adjudication of a 50-strong panel of judges, were presented to FIFA and our long-term consultants mm sports from Munich at the Stevie® Awards ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin on 27 March.

Created in 2002 to honour the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and working professionals worldwide, the Stevie® Awards are the world's premier business awards. The German Stevie® Awards are the newest of the six global Stevie® Awards programmes and are open to all organisations in Germany – not only those in sports and marketing.
