FIFA’s food and beverage programme, which is set to be rolled out at the 12 FIFA World Cup™ stadiums during the event in 2014, will create 12,000 temporary jobs for Brazilian people at the public food and beverage concession stands.
CSM Catering, part of the CSM Group, is running an 8-week long recruitment campaign where Brazilians over the age of 18 years can apply online at http://www.querovestiracamisa.com. The recruitment will run from 6 February until 31 March. The selection period will then take place in March and April, before training commences in May, ahead of the tournament.
“Along with the volunteer programme this will represent one of the largest recruitment drives of the FIFA World Cup” said CSM Director Mauro Correa “We’re happy to provide the opportunity for so many people to experience this amazing event”.
Following the recruitment process, around 1,000 candidates per Host City will be appointed to work in a variety of roles, including supervisors, coordinators, vendors and cashiers. When the workforce’s FIFA World Cup assignment is over each member will receive an authorised certificate which acknowledges their role and can be used in the future as a work reference.
