Eric Gerets, Morocco coach
I think we have a lot of scope for progress, as the core of the team consists mainly of young players. Côte d’Ivoire, on the other hand, have several players who are at their peak, and others who are hopefully on their way down. Côte d’Ivoire are a really top-class team, so it’s going to be difficult. It’s up to us to prove that we are worthy group favourites alongside Côte d’Ivoire.

We’re going to take it one competition at a time. First we’ll concentrate on the CAN 2012, and then we’ll focus on the events that follow.

Abdoullie Mansally, Gambia forward
At first sight, it’s a tough group. We all know that Côte d’Ivoire are one of the best teams in Africa. As for us, we’ll have to work extremely hard. We’ll try to take three points from our home games, but we know that our away matches could be more difficult.
