Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has indicated Manchester United have shown an interest in Wesley Sneijder.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League giants after helping the Netherlands reach the FIFA World Cup™ final in South Africa.

Despite claiming interest from United, Moratti is confident Sneijder will remain with Inter. "I believe the offer is real," Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport, "but I have not even wanted to ask too much in order not to be tempted.

"I am enjoying watching him play at the World Cup and I believe I will continue to enjoy his play at Inter for many years."

Sneijder, who joined Inter from Real Madrid last summer, is under contract with Inter until June 2013.
