Slovakia will be well prepared for the threat of New Zealand when the two sides meet on Tuesday in Rustenburg, according to midfielder Vladimir Weiss.

The All Whites are rank outsiders for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ but caught the eye recently with a friendly win over Serbia.

I believe that the New Zealand match will turn out as we all want.

Vladimir Weiss, Slovakia midfielder

"We have seen the New Zealanders play against Serbia," said Manchester City youngster Weiss, son of coach Vladimir Weiss. "We know what we can expect from them. We will obviously try to get all three points."

Slovakia completed their preparations for the tournament with a comfortable win over Costa Rica. "When we play we will build on the work against Costa Rica," added Weiss. "I believe that the New Zealand match will turn out as we all want."
