Greek international striker Dimitris Salpigidis has signed a four-year contract to return to his former club PAOK Salonica, the team announced Wednesday. PAOK did not announce financial details of the contract.

Salpigidis, 28, has played for Greek champions Panathinaikos Athens the last four seasons, scoring 56 goals. He started his career with PAOK in 1999 and has 37 caps for Greece, scoring three goals including the winning goal against Ukraine last winter in a playoff match which sent Greece to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
