Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has reassured Brazil he is in "great condition" after overcoming his injury problems.

The midfielder's participation at the FIFA World Cup™ was threatened by a groin injury that contributed to his loss of form this season, but Kaka insists he will be firing on all cylinders when Brazil play their first match against Korea DPR on 15 June.

"I am getting better every day," he said. "The injury does not bother me anymore. I've been doing everything planned so far and by the time we play the opener I will be in great condition." Portugal and Côte d'Ivoire make up the rest of Group G.
