The group phase of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ has been a hard road for all 32 national teams as they try to claim a place amongst the Final 16. Similarly, the FIFA.com Club set its members a tough challenge this month: achieve ‘Legend Status’ by reaching 100 per cent on your Activity Meter by 21 June.

Just like managers expect from their FIFA World Cup squads, The Club expected 100 per cent effort from members hoping to claim one of eight trips to a 2010 FIFA World Cup semi-final. Our Club members responded in full force; in the end 10,000 users managed to hold onto ‘Legend Status’ by the 21 June deadline. Our eligible Club ‘legends’ were entered into a random draw; ten thousand names went in and only 8 emerged. Our 8 Activity Challenge winners will now fly to South Africa and watch a South Africa 2010 semi-final!

Five winners will be in Cape Town to watch the 6 July semi-final, while three winners will be in Durban for the 7 July semi-final. Congratulations to our winners and see you in South Africa!

Club members, we still have some fantastic FIFA World Cup prizes up for grabs. Be sure to visit the Club House regularly for all our competition updates and announcements.
