Midfielder An Yong-Hak believes Korea DPR may be capable of a surprise or two at the FIFA World Cup™ despite being drawn in a tough group.
The Chollima are in a tricky Group G in South Africa alongside Brazil, Portugal and Côte d'Ivoire, and few are expecting them to produce any shocks in their first FIFA World Cup finals since 1966.
Korea DPR drew 2-2 with Greece in their last friendly and have one more warm-up match against Nigeria on Sunday before their FIFA World Cup opener against Brazil on 15 June, and An remains confident he and his team-mates will give a good account of themselves.
"It will not be easy but there are no easy games at the World Cup. Whoever we play, we will do our best and can get good results. It is true that we lack international experience but right until the start of the tournament we are trying to supplement our experience with a number of friendly matches," he said.
