Mexico ramped up its preparations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ with a 1-0 victory over Angola in an international friendly on Thursday.

Andres Guardado scored in the 53rd minute in front of 70,099 fans at Reliant Stadium. Despite playing on US soil, Mexico managed to draw the third largest crowd for a football game in Reliant Stadium history.

Mexico did not allow a goal against in its US tour defeating Senegal 1-0 and playing out a scoreless draw against Ecuador.
