The Japan Football Association have named seven reserve players for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.
Kashima Antlers midfielder Mitsuo Ogasawara, who was tipped for a place in the 23-man squad, is included as is Borussia Dortmund-bound midfielder Shinji Kagawa.
Japan have been drawn in Group E alongside the Netherlands, Denmark and Cameroon.
