Former Spain striker Emilio Butragueno, nicknamed The Vulture, earned 69 caps for Spain. The La Roja international scored 26 goals for his country and appeared at both Mexico 1986 and Italy 1990.

The Spanish striker finished alongside Argentina's Maradona and Brazil's Careca as the second highest goalscorer at the 1986 FIFA World Cup™. Of Butragueno's five goals at Mexico 1986, four were scored in Spain's Round of 16 match against Denmark. Spain won the match 5-1.

Butragueno enjoyed a long career at Real Madrid, scoring 123 goals from 341 appearances. He has also served as vice-president of the Spanish giants.
