Argentina hold the record for most bookings in World Cup history with 88.
That is not their only unwanted disciplinary record, however. Leandro Cufre holds the 'honour' of being the latest red card in a World Cup match having been dismissed after 121 minutes against Germany in 2006.
Claudio Caniggia remains the only player to be red-carded from the bench after his tirade against Sweden in 2002.
Argentina also 'boast' the most sendings off of any country in World Cup history with 10 red cards in 64 games, added to the aforementioned record of most bookings since the tournament's inception.
And last but not least, they are the only side to have two players sent off in the same World Cup final, courtesy of Pedro Monzon and Gustavo Dezotti's dismissals against West Germany in 1990.
