USA international Charlie Davies has returned to Sochaux five months after suffering multiple injuries in a serious car accident in his homeland.
The 23-year-old suffered two broken bones in his right leg, dislocated and broke his left elbow, and suffered multiple facial injuries as well as a ruptured bladder and bleeding on the brain when he was involved in a car wreck that killed one person in October.

He began his rehabilitation in the USA but has now rejoined his Ligue 1 club. "I've come a long way," he told the club's website.
"I'd say I'm probably a month away from being able to train with the team regularly, and then I need a little more time to be able to get match-fit again. So, you know, I'd say I'm not too far away from being able to play again."
Davies was on international duty when the accident took place. He is targeting a return to action before the end of the Ligue 1 season, but his once-certain 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ place remains in the balance due to the amount of time he has missed.
