Bulgaria's national football coach Stanimir Stoilov has quit his club side job at first division Litex Lovech, following his failure to effectively steer the club in the Europa League group stage, the club has reported.

After their 1-0 home win against Belarussian champions Bate Borisov, Litex lost Thursday's return leg 4-0 and failed to qualify.

The 42-year-old Stoilov will remain Bulgarian national team coach after succeeding Plamen Markov in the top job in January.
